Igbinedion University honours Nureini Jimoh, SAN
Igbinedion University, Okada, Edo State has honoured a legal luminary, Barr. Nureini Jimoh SAN with an award.
SolaceBase reports that the university Vice Chancellor, Prof. Lawrence Ikechukwu Ezemonye and the Student Government awarded the legal icon after he delivered a thought-provoking lecture at the institution’s valedictory ceremony and public lecture for 2023/2024 graduating law students held over the weekend, in Edo State.
The theme of the event was ‘’The Role of Youths in a Democratic Governance in Developing Countries.’’

Mr. Jimoh, a Kano-based lawyer in the lecture took the audience through the various stages of Youth development before the colonial, during the Military and Democratic regimes in Nigeria on the Role of Youths in Democratic Governance in the country.
Also, he x-rayed comparatively the ages of leaders in Nigeria, Africa and globally.
The Senior Advocate of Nigeria urged the youths to embrace moral values and exhibit Puritan leadership.
He charged them to follow the lifestyle of the founder as set out by the Late Ooni of Ife.
