Iheanacho, Ejuke named in Sevilla’s squad against Liverpool

Nigerian duo Kelechi Iheanacho and Chidera Ejuke have been included in Sevilla’s squad for Sunday’s (today) pre-season friendly with Liverpool.

The friendly against the Premier League giants will be held at Anfield and it is Sevilla’s last friendly before the start of the new season.

Head coach Xavier García Pimienta named 21 players in his squad for the encounter.

Iheanacho joined the Rojiblancos on a free transfer last week.

The 27-year-old only started training with his new teammates this week.

His compatriot, Ejuke joined Sevilla earlier in the summer.

Sevilla will take on Las Palmas in their opening fixture of the 2024/25 season next week Friday.
