I’m not on vendetta mission-Gov Yusuf, announces reopening date for Hasiya Bayero Paediatric hosp.
Kano state governor Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf has assured that the Hasiya Bayero Paediatric hospital will resume operations in a fortnight.
Also, the governor directed the state health commissioner, Dr Abubakar Labaran Yusuf, to immediately set machinery in motion to ensure the smooth restoration of the health centre.
SOLACEBASE reports that Gov Yusuf while receiving the emir of Gaya Alhaji Aliyu Ibrahim Abdulkadir who paid him Sallah homage said his administration will ensure the policy of free maternity policy is implemented effectively.

This was contained in a statement issued by Hisham Habib, Spokesperson to the governor on Sunday.
‘’The governor also reiterated the NNPP led government’s commitment to refuse evacuation and management and expressed concern over sanitation in the state,’’ the statement said.

‘’He also tasked his cabinet members to liase with the council chairmen in the various local governments in finding out critical challenges adding that his government is not pursuing any vendetta but working towards the progress of Kano.’’
