INEC commences distribution of sensitive materials in Kano

INEC, Kano, Sensitive material, Elections, Governorship, State Assembly — INEC distributes sensitive electoral materials in Kano, on Wednesday.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on Wednesday commenced the distribution of sensitive materials to the 44 local government areas of Kano state.

The commission begun the distribution of the materials which were kept at the state Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), around 11.30am, on Wednesday.

SOLACEBASE had reported that the governorship and state assembly elections initially scheduled for Saturday 11^th March was postponed to Saturday, 18^th March to give INEC enough time to reconfigure the BVAS machines that would be deployed for the poll.
