A member of the Governing Council of the Federal College of Education (Technical) Potiskum, Yobe State Hon. Nasiru Bala Aminu Ja’o’ji has called for the rejection of the planned nationwide protest.
Ja’o’ji made the call in Kano while addressing journalists, members of APC, leaders of different committees and women leaders, on Wednesday
He acknowledged the democratic right of citizens to express their concerns about government policies.
However, he condemned any actions that could lead to a crisis, highlighting the effects of such protests on national stability and development.
“While accepting peaceful protest as part of democratic tenet, planning to cause crisis of any nature, under whatever name, is condemnable by right-thinking citizens,” Ja’o’ji stated.

He recognized the hardships faced by Nigerians but emphasized that these issues does not originate from President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration, assuring that the President is aware of the challenges and is working on policy adjustments to improve the situation.

“As a listening leader, President Tinubu assured Nigerians that things will change for the better.”

Ja’o’ji stressed that the planned protest lacked clear organizers and suggested that it might have a hidden agenda.
He noted that many women groups he consulted with do not support the protest and have advised their children against participating.
Ja’o’ji urged Nigerians to support unity and peaceful coexistence, emphasizing the importance of working together for the development of the country.
