JUST IN: FG in closed-door meeting with ASUU
The federal government and the leadership of the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) are in a closed meeting to deliberate on ways to avert the proposed strike by the union.
SolaceBase reports that speaking shortly before the closed-door session on Wednesday, the Minister of Education, Prof. Tahir Mamman, said the meeting would provide an opportunity for both parties to deliberate on issues also affecting the university system.
