Kano State Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf has directed the Accountant-General of the state to close all Ministry, Department, and Agency accounts with immediate effect.
Yusuf gave the order on Wednesday at the ongoing meeting with the Chairman of the Kano State Internal Revenue Service and heads of MDAs at the Government House.
The governor said the order was to ensure that all government revenue is properly accounted for and utilised for the development of the state.
