The Senate on Tuesday confirmed the nomination of Olayemi Cardoso as substantive Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).
Additionally, the Senate has also confirmed four deputy governor nominees for the apex bank.

The deputy governors include Emem Nnana Usoro, Muhammad Sani Abdullahi Dattijo, Philip Ikeazor, and Bala Bello.
SOLACEBASE reports that the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio announced the confirmation when put to voice vote without objection.
