The Kano State Accountability Forum on Education (K-SAFE) has expressed deep sorrow over the death of Dr. Auwalu Inusa Mohammed, a renowned educationist and former Chairman of the Education Support Group (ESG).

In a heartfelt condolence message signed by Dr. Auwalu Halilu on Tuesday, the Co-Chair (CSOs) of K-SAFE, the forum described Dr. Mohammed as a “dear friend, mentor, and a tireless champion of education and development.”

“Dr. Auwalu was not only a pillar in the education sector but a beacon of hope and resilience for all who believed in the power of knowledge and community development,” the statement read.

SolaceBase reports that K-SAFE noted that Dr. Mohammed’s contributions to improving educational outcomes across Kano State and beyond left a lasting impact, praising his wisdom, humility, and unwavering dedication to the cause of education.

The forum extended its condolences to the late educationist’s family, colleagues, and the wider development community, praying for Allah’s forgiveness and eternal rest for the deceased.
