Kano agency partners BUK on research, drug manufacturing
Kano State Drugs and Medical Consumable Supply Agency has expressed readiness to partner with the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Bayero University Kano (BUK), to enhance training and research on drug manufacturing.
The Director-General of the agency, Mr Gali Sule, said this on Thursday during a courtesy visit by Gidado Yusuf, First Vice-President, National Association of Industrial Pharmacists of Nigeria (NAIP).
This is contained in a statement by Farouk Musa, Public Relations Officer of the Agency, on Thursday in Kano.
Sule said the agency was upgrading its drug manufacturing unit, to enable it to get certification from regulatory bodies such as Pharmacy Council of Nigeria (PCN) and National Agency for Food, Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC).

Earlier, Yusuf said the visit was to strengthen the existing working relationships between them, and pledged support to enable the agency to achieve its mandate. (NAN)
