Kano anti-corruption commission invites landowners at Gandun Sarki for verification, compensation exercise

The Kano State Public Complaints and Anti-Corruption Commission (PCACC), in collaboration with the Kano State Ministry of Land and Physical Planning, has called on members of the public who purchased plots of land at Gandun Sarki Sabon Gida in Panisau, Ungogo Local Government Area, through Aminci Micro-Credit Company, to come forward for verification following a government layout of the area.

The notice, signed on Friday by the Commission’s Acting Public Relations Officer, Isah Mansur Bello, stated that the exercise is part of efforts to ensure proper documentation and compensation for affected landowners.

Bello explained that only individuals with valid proof of ownership would be attended to, urging them to cooperate with officials throughout the process.

According to the statement, all affected persons are required to report to the Commission’s office located along Sabo Bakin Zuwo Road, near the Kano State Government House, with their ownership documents for verification and compensation processing.

The Commission said the verification exercise will commence on Monday, May 11, 2026, and will run daily from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., stressing the importance of timely compliance.

“Members of the public are advised to be guided accordingly,” the statement added.
