Kano APC endorses Tinubu for second term, reaffirms loyalty to Ganduje
Stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kano State have unanimously endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for a second term in 2027, and reaffirmed their unwavering loyalty to the party’s leader in Kano, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje.
SolaceBase reports that the endorsement came during a strategic stakeholders’ meeting held on Tuesday at Ganduje’s residence in Kano.
The meeting focused on party unity, electoral preparedness, and the developmental strides of the Tinubu administration in Northern Nigeria, particularly in Kano State.
Speaking at the meeting, Kano APC Chairman, Abdullahi Abbas, emphasized that the gathering was primarily aimed at addressing internal party issues, promoting unity among members, and preparing the party to face the opposition ahead of the next electoral cycle.
“We are fully committed to the success of President Tinubu and our great party. This meeting is about consolidating our base, strengthening our unity, and positioning the APC to win convincingly in 2027.”

He added that the APC in Kano is open to reconciliation and expansion, stating that the party is ready to welcome members of the Kwankwasiyya movement if they decide to join the APC.

However, he warned that if they remain in opposition, the APC would “deal with them” politically during the elections.
“If Kwankwasiyya members are ready to join us in the APC, we will welcome them. But if they remain in opposition, we will confront them decisively at the polls.”
The stakeholders also discussed President Tinubu’s ongoing projects across the North, especially in Kano, debunking claims of regional bias in federal project allocations. They praised the Tinubu administration for its inclusive approach and commitment to national development.
