He emphasized the need for collaboration among residents and called on the youth to join hands in engaging government authorities to meet the community’s demands.

Idris added that another major aim of the event was to educate participants on the responsible use of social media, which informed the invitation of scholars, law enforcement officers and professionals to speak on relevant issues.

Also speaking, the Secretary of the organizing committee, Abdulmalik Shu’aibu, thanked attendees for honouring the invitation, describing their presence as a clear indication of the community’s shared desire for progress.

He said the gathering was a source of pride, especially as it brought together people from different walks of life — including religious figures, security personnel, business owners and public servants — under one roof with a common purpose.

He expressed hope that the meeting would mark the beginning of a positive transformation in areas such as education, politics, religion and social harmony.

SolaceBase reports that the event featured insightful contributions from speakers across various sectors, including religious scholars, lawyers, police and NDLEA officials.
