Kano council boss empowers residents with over N200m

Chairman Kumbotso local government council in Kano State, Alhaji Garban Kauye Farawa has distributed motorcycles, cars, plots of lands among others to citizens of the area as part of the council’s empowerment programs to uplift the livelihood of the people in the society.

Speaking during a grand ceremony held at Mariri village of Kumbotso local government, on Sunday, Garban Kauye stated that the grand empowerment is the fourth edition despite the fact that he had held several empowerments for residents of the community adding that the empowerment has been a testimony of the huge encouragement local governments have been receiving from Ganduje led administration.

“It is clear that we are committed to improve the livelihood of the good people of Kumbotso local government and this empowerment is one out of the many empowerment the local government has conducted over the years. It is also a testimony of the support that the Ganduje led administration has given to local government areas in the state,” he said.

Earlier in his address special guest of honour during the event former Kano state commissioner for local government and APC deputy governor candidate, Hon. Murtala Sule Garo commended the local government chairman for the effort done and urged others to follow the step of the chairman in ensuring that people at the grassroots felt the impact of good governance.
