Kano ex-commissioner congratulates Waiya on his appointment

Former Kano State Commissioner of Information and Internal Affairs, Hon. Baba Halilu Dantiye on Thursday paid a congratulatory visit to his successor, Comrade Ibrahim Abdullahi Waiya

During the visit, Dantiye offered advice and expressed readiness to support the newly appointed commissioner to succeed in achieving the set objectives.

This was contained in a statement issued by Abdussamad Umar, Information Technology and Media Publicity aide to the commissioner, on Thursday.

‘’Comrade Waiya warmly received Hon. Halilu Dantiye, expressing profound gratitude for the gesture, described Dantiye as a “kind and gentleman to the core,” while acknowledging his enormous contributions and legacy,’’ the statement said.

“I appreciate your selfless service to Kano State,” Waiya said. “Your guidance and mentorship would surely be an invaluable asset to me”
