Kano State Government has expressed support for Aqua Power’s innovative Waste to Wealth and Waste to Energy proposal, which aligns with the state’s broader initiative on environmental sustainability. 

This was disclosed in a statement issued on Friday by the Commissioner for Environment & Climate Change, Dr. Dahir M. Hashim, following a presentation by the company. 

SolaceBase reports that Dr. Hashim assured Aqua Power of the ministry’s commitment to working closely with them to realize the project, emphasizing its potential to transform waste into valuable resources, promote environmental sustainability, and create economic opportunities.
