{JUST IN} Kano Guber: Supreme Court fixes Friday for judgement

The Supreme Court has scheduled Friday, January 12, 2024, for judgment in the governorship dispute of Kano State between the APC and NNPP.

Abba Kabir Yusuf, a member of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), was declared winner of the Kano State governorship election held on 18 March by Nigeria’s electoral commission, INEC.

However,  the All Progressives Congress (APC) challenged the outcome of the election, alleging electoral malpractices and asking its governorship candidate at the poll, Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna be declared winner of the election.
