Ungogo local government council chairman, in Kano State, Engr. Abdullahi Garba Ramat has developed a first digital campaign platform for All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate, Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna and his deputy, Murtala Sule Garo, that makes it easy for candidates and supporters/voters to reach each other wherever they are: on their smartphones.
Ramat, a techno-suave politician said in a statement over the weekend, that he developed the app to purposely ease connectivity and bridge communication gap between Kano APC gubernatorial candidate and his supporters and to also enable his supporters/the masses contribute their quotas by educating the candidate on their needs especially those he has not included in his campaign promises.
‘’This way, I firmly believe we can all help reshaping the mind of our leaders while helping them develop an efficient scale of preference in consonance and full alignment with what we as the people need for democracy is always absolutely of the people, by the people and for the people, the statement said.‘’

The statement said the app offers a suite of features that makes it easy for campaigns to connect with voters, including, a mobile-first design that makes it easy for campaigners to reach voters on their smartphones, a drag-and-drop interface that makes it easy to create beautiful, responsive campaign widgets, tools to manage volunteers, fundraising, and voter outreach and integrations with popular social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter
According to the statement, ‘’with the Gawuna Garo app, our candidates and the supporters/masses can run efficient and effective digital campaigns that reach voters where they are.
