PROMISES-DELIVERED

SolaceBase reports that in his acceptance speech, the newly elected chairman, Murtala Adewale, expressed gratitude to members for conducting a peaceful and orderly election.

“I give thanks, glory, and adoration to Almighty Allah. He alone has the power and knows who deserves a particular position at a specific point in time,” he said.

Reflecting on the election journey, Adewale added, “I started this journey with trust in Almighty God and good intentions. I never imagined we would get this far, but we did our best. Man proposes, but God disposes. This is what God has destined for this chapel at this moment.”

He also commended the electoral committee, saying, “Nobody can predict today’s outcome except God. However, the credentials committee did a tremendous job, and from what we have all witnessed over the past month, they conducted a credible and fair election.”

Adewale further thanked senior members and mentors in the chapel for their guidance and support, noting that their experience is invaluable.

“I cherish and respect the wealth of experience our seniors brought to this profession. I have never taken that for granted,” he added.

He concluded with a pledge to work towards unity, transparency, and greater productivity within the chapel under the new leadership.
