2023 Hajj: Kano pilgrims complete visitation to historical sites in Madina

The last batch of 2023 Pilgrims from Kano state in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia have completed their visitations to historical places in Madina, in the holy Land.

SOLACEBASE reports that the Head of media team Malam Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa revealed this in an interview with journalists in Madina, on Sunday.

Dawakin Tofa noted that the last batch of pilgrims from Kano arrived safely at Madina International Airport on Thursday June 21, aboard Max Air, the official air carrier for the pilgrimage.

Accordingly, the Pilgrims were led by officials of the Board  Malam Muhammad Ghali Shehu, Malam Aliyu Mukhtar Darma and Gwani Falaki in Madina to perform their religious obligations as enshrined by the teachings of the holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW).

Dawakin Tofa appreciated the arrangement made by National Hajj Commission (NAHCON), which is the regulatory body in charge of services and provision of befitting accommodations and feeding to all Nigerian pilgrims, including those from Kano in Madina.

He reassured the Kano contingents of the readiness of the Engr. Abba Kabir Yusuf led administration to upscale their welfare to perform acceptable hajj and get value for their money.

The Chairma n of this year’s Hajj media team also hinted that the last batch of Kano Pilgrims in Madina have since left the Prophet’s city to Makka on Saturday ahead of this year’s Hajj.
