The Kano Pillars FC is set to resume training on Monday, in preparation for the upcoming 2025/2026 Nigeria Premier Football League season, scheduled to kick off in August.

This was contained in a statement issued by Kano Pillars FC Media & Communications Directorate and sent to SolaceBase, on Saturday.

The statement said the retained players for the season include:

It said developmental players that is promising young players that will join the senior squad are

Similarly, it noted that the club will unveil its new signings for the 2025/2026 season soon, including Suleiman Idris Ibrahim, who is returning from Europe.

‘’The Chairman of the club, Alhaji Ali Muhammad Umar, has charged the players and technical crew to approach the new season with total commitment and discipline, emphasizing the club’s objective to fight for honors and reclaim its pride in Nigerian football,’’ the statement said.

SolaceBase recalls that Kano Pillars FC concluded the 2024/2025 NPFL season in 9th position with 53 points from 38 matches, marking a notable improvement from the previous season.
