Kano Pillars FC suspends technical adviser

Kano Pillars Football Club have suspended its Technical Adviser, Usman Sheriff Abdallah for three weeks over the team’s poor performance.

SolaceBase reports that the club also said the technical adviser was suspended for his conduct towards fans immediately after the NPFL25 Matchday 22 goalless draw against Bayelsa United on Sunday.

The club’s Media and Communications Directorate said Alhaji Ali Muhammad Umar-led management took the decision following Abdallah’s ‘inappropriate’ gesture towards supporters at the Sani Abacha Stadium.

“Sai Masu Gida have struggled to find consistency in recent matches, securing only one win in their last three outings. This dip in form has raised concerns among the management and supporters, who expect a higher level of performance from the team.”
