2024: Kano Pillars terminate technical adviser’s contract

Nigeria Premier Football League Club, Kano Pillars, have terminated the contract of Paul Offor as its technical adviser. 

The former Sporting Lagos manager was appointed after Abdul Maikaba’s resignation as manager of the club.

Nearly a month later, Kano Pillars announced the termination of Offor’s contract based on a mutual agreement between the coach and the club.

“Kano Pillars Football Club announces the mutual termination of the contract with its Technical Adviser, Paul Offor. The decision was made in good faith and with mutual consent, underscoring a shared understanding between both parties,” the club said in a statement by its chairman Ali Muhammad Umar.

“As Kano Pillars FC looks forward, the club is set to appoint a new Technical Adviser to steer the team in the upcoming 2024/25 Nigeria Premier Football League season.”

Offor is a UEFA License C holder and he previously led Sporting Lagos to NPFL promotion within one year. He secured the club’s first-ever trophy in the Naija Super 8.
