Kano rehabilitates 3 Almajiri integrated boarding schools with N159m
Kano State government has rehabilitated 3 Almajiri Integrated Boarding schools with N159m.
Solacebase reports that the three schools that have been provided with facilities and new buildings construction are in Kanwa in Madobi lacal government, Bunkure in Bunkure local government and Kiyawa in Bagwai local government area of the state.
The state Commissioner of Education, Malam Muhammad Sanusi Sa’id Kiru stated this on Tuesday during an inspection tour of the schools together with Commissioner for Information, Muhammad Garba.
This was contained in a statement issued by the ministry of education public relations officer, Aliyu Yusuf.

According to the statement, the rehabilitation exercise comprises of the provision of electricity Generating sets, connecting the schools with National Grid, construction of mosques, sinking of boreholes and provision of mattresses among other renovations.
The statement noted that Malam Muhammad Sanusi Sa’id Kiru announced that already appointment has been made for the heads of the 3 schools for effective coordination.
It noted that the Commissioner of Information, Malam Muhammad Garba expressed delight on the quality of renovation work while appreciating the effort of the state government and that of the ministry of education in making the Integration of Almajiri system a success.
