Kano rep member empowers 1, 812 indigent youths, women
House of Representatives member, representing Tarauni federal constituency, from Kano State, Hon Hafiz Kawu has empowered over 1,812 indigent youths and women with N10, 000 each, in his constituent.
The beneficiaries drawn from all parts of the federal constituency received the empowerment money during an event held in the state metropolitan.
Represented during the event on Saturday by All Progressive Congress (APC) Tarauni caucus chairman Alhaji Talle Maiunguwa, Hon Kawu urged the beneficiaries to effectively utilize the package adding that the whole exercise is a continuous process.
However, due to the current cash policy most of the beneficiaries received their monies through their bank accounts
Present at the event were party leaders, business community, stakeholders among other important personalities in the area.
