The Kano Schools Festival delightfully lauds the foresight and inclusive drive of the President – Elect, Alhaji Asiwaju Bola Ahmad Tinubu for appointing Abdulaziz Abdulaziz as his Special Assistant on Media and Publicity at the critical time of his campaign.
Abdulaziz Abdulaziz who was the immediate past Deputy Editor of the Daily Trust Newspapers has been one of the most generous supporters of Kano Schools Festival, by singlehandedly sponsoring the Essay Writing Competition Category and providing the fund for the publication of A Wise Whisper, an anthology of poetry by the students of Girls Science College, Garko, Kano state.
The Kano Schools Festival is an innovative initiative providing the right platform for the Kano Secondary Schools students to excel in academics and discover their full creative potentials.
The appointment of Abdulaziz Abdulaziz, a Kano born multiple award winning investigative journalist who won the Wole Soyinka Investigative Journalist Award twice by the President – Elect is well deserved, and we, at the Kano Schools Festival commend Alhaji Bola Tinubu for making a right choice by bringing in one of Nigeria’s patriotic and brilliant journalists to work with him in pulling Nigeria out of the woods.
