Kano: Youths in Sabon gari mobilize for Gawuna, Garo, demand continuity

The All Progressives Congress (APC’s) administration in Kano deserves another chance to govern the state, considering its achievements in various spheres of human endeavor.

The coordinator of Sabon Gari Youth Assembly, Hon. Seyi Olorunshola, said this on Tuesday at the end of a rally held within Sabon Gari to mobilize residents of the area to vote for APC’s governorship candidate and his deputy, Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna and Murtala Sule Garo respectively in the gubernatorial election coming on Saturday, the 18th of March, 2023.

Olurunshola said the mobilization was imminent, given all the developmental projects that the APC government under Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje brought to Sabon Gari, the abode of mainly non-indigenes of the state.

He said the number of roads newly built by Ganduje in the area were unprecedented, adding that the governor also completed other roads that were left uncompleted by the previous administration.

“The Sabon Gari people have resolved to reward the government with votes on Saturday. We held this rally around the area to sensitize and mobilize our people to come out en-masse and vote for Gawuna and Garo.

Anthony Ifeanyi, said “Sabon Gari people enjoyed participation in the entrepreneurship drive of the government of APC, adding that better economic development was realized through good road networks and healthcare facilities. He said continuity is assured if Gawuna and Garo werr returned as governor and deputy on Saturday.

While appealing to Sabon Gari inhabitants to “repay good with good”, the senior special adviser to Fagge Local Government chairman, Chief Edmund Enyinnaya, urged “the youth and women to rise up to the occasion and vote for continuity.”

Enyinnaya said “the peace that we enjoyed in Kano in the past eight years alone has qualified this government for a rain of votes in Sabon Gari. Peace and peaceful co-existence with our neighbors is a thing to cherish. We have the APC government to thanks for it and we are willing to give it another chance for the sake of continuity.”
