KHAIRUN, Sabratha University Libya sign academic collaboration agreement

Khalifa Isyaku Rabiu University, Kano (KHAIRUN), has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Sabratha University, Libya, aimed at fostering academic collaboration between the two institutions.

This was disclosed in a statement issued on Thursday by KHAIRUN Acting Director of Corporate Affairs and Marketing, Bilal Dahiru Tijjani.

According to the statement, the MoU was signed on Wednesday during an official visit by a delegation from Sabratha University, led by its President, Prof. Salem Mohd Ali.

The agreement outlines plans for collaboration in key areas such as joint research, academic conferences, workshops, student exchange programmes, and other mutually beneficial academic initiatives.

In his remarks, Prof. Salem Mohd Ali expressed appreciation for the warm hospitality extended by Khalifa Isyaku Rabiu University and shared insights into Sabratha University’s academic programs and facilities.

He reaffirmed his commitment to maintaining a partnership grounded in academic excellence and mutual development.

SolaceBase reports that KHAIRUN’s Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Abdulrashid Garba, welcomed the partnership with enthusiasm, describing it as a significant milestone in the university’s quest for global academic engagement.

He highlighted KHAIRUN’s expanding network of international collaborations and expressed confidence that the new agreement would foster innovation and drive academic progress.
