Former Kano State Governor, Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso, has dragged the Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) to court to prevent arrest.

The case filed at Kano High Court has been directed before Justice Yusuf Ubale.

Competent sources said the suit aims to prevent the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) from detaining him.

It could be recalled that EFCC is investigating an allegation involving 2.5 billion naira in campaign funds associated with the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) against Kwankwaso.

Similarly, he was recently interrogated by the anti-graft commission.
