Some listeners of Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN) Kaduna national station have expressed disappointment over the long period of time the station has been off air.
Some of them who spoke to our correspondent in Zaria, Funtua, and Gusau expressed concern that the station is now moribund.
One of the listeners in Zaria, Mal Mohammed Shitu who said he was an ardent listener of the station for many years decried the present state of the station.

He said he greatly missed the news and program content of the station since the time it went off air.
Another Listener in Funtua, Alh Abubakar Unguwar Dahiru said the station has contributed immensely to the socio-economic activities of the then-northern region and should not be allowed to die like that.
According to him, the station with its experienced staff have enlightened and educated the people of the north through its various programs and news content.
Also commenting an ardent listener of the station in Gusau Zamfara state, Mal Usman Bakanike Damba noted that the station deserves to be given special attention from the federal government to resuscitate it adding the some of them are in mourning over the condition the station found it selves.
They therefore appealed to the federal government to as a matter of urgency take steps to rehabilitate the station for the well-being of its teeming listeners across the country and West Africa as a whole
It was gathered that for the past two months, FRCN Kaduna has been off-air which is unprecedented in the history of the station as a result of various reasons.
