2025: LPPC names Abdulkarim Maude, Aminu Gadanya,Tairu Adebayo, Ibrahim Abikan 68 other shortlisted candidates for SAN conferment

The Legal Practitioners’ Privileges Committee (LPPC) has released the shortlist of applicants for the conferment of the prestigious rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN). For the year 2025.

This was contained in a statement signed by the Chief Registrar of the Supreme Court and Secretary of the LPPC, Kabir Eniola Akanbi, Esq .

It said the shortlisted candidates successfully scaled through critical evaluation stages that include the first and second filtration exercise for advocates, Academic Pre-Qualification Screening, Independent Appeals Hearing and Law Office Inspection Exercise.

These stages, the LPPC noted, are integral to ensuring that only the most deserving legal practitioners attain the SAN rank, which is widely regarded as a mark of distinction, honour, and leadership in the legal profession.

Submissions may also be sent via email to: lppcsecretariat@courts.gov.ng or enquiries. lppcsecretariat@supremecourt.gov.ng. , ”the statement said.
