BUK/AKTH: Nigerian Association of Medical and Dental Academics elects new executives

The Nigerian Association of Medical and Dental Academics (NAMDA) Bayero University Kano (BUK) and Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital (AKTH), has conducted it’s maiden General meeting and elections.

The election was held on Saturday at the lecture Hall of the Faculty of Clinical Sciences, BUK/AKTH Kano.

SOLACEBASE reports that those elected as the executive committee members, Dr Usman Bashir from Community Medicine, BUK/AKTH, as Chairman, Dr Kabiru Abdulsalam from Chemical Pathology, BUK/AKTH, as Vice Chairman,  Dr Mustapha Yusuf from Medical Microbiology and Entomology, BUK/AKTH as Secretary.

Others are; Dr Sulaiman Abdulrashid from Maxillofacial Surgery BUK/AKTH, as Dep Sec., Dr Zainab Abdulqadir from Family Medicine, AKTH, as Treasurer, Dr Sabir Muhammad Iya from Oral and Maxillofacial Basic Sciences, BUK/AKTH, as Fin Sec., Dr Kamal Sidi from Internal Medicine, AKTH, as PRO, Dr Adama Jibril from Human Physiology, BUK, Welfare Secretary and  Dr Mahdi Gambo Disi from Human Physiology, BUK as Auditor.
