Tito Jackson, an American legendary figure in the music industry and a key member of the Jackson 5, has passed away.
The brother of pop icon, Michael Jackson died on September 16, 2024, at the age of 70.
According to multiple reports, he suffered a heart attack while travelling from New Mexico to Oklahoma.
Born Toriano Adaryll Jackson on October 15, 1953, in Gary, Indiana, Tito was one of the ten children in the famous Jackson family.
Alongside his brothers, he helped shape the sound of the iconic Jackson 5, which became one of Motown’s most successful groups in the late 1960s and 1970s. Their hits like “I Want You Back,” “ABC,” and “I’ll Be There” remain timeless classics.

Tito was known for his exceptional guitar skills, and while his brothers often took centre stage, his contributions to the group’s sound were invaluable.

Tito’s musical legacy also extends through his sons, who formed the group 3T in the 1990s.
