Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf of Kano State has praised the outgoing Chairman of the Public Complaints and Anti-Corruption Commission (PCACC), Barrister Muhuyi Magaji Rimingado, for what he described as an exceptional tenure dedicated to the fight against corruption and abuse of office in the state.
This was contained in a letter of appreciation signed by the governor, acknowledging Magaji’s “unwavering commitment, dedication, courage, and sense of duty” during his stewardship of the commission.
SolaceBase reports that he governor noted that Magaji’s leadership helped restore public trust in governance and strengthened institutional frameworks for transparency and accountability in Kano.

“It is crystal clear that you exhibited great leadership and drive in promoting transparency, accountability, and a high sense of justice in the management of public affairs, which are critical factors in the pursuit and realization of meaningful growth and development in any society,” the governor stated.
Governor Yusuf further commended the former chairman for leaving “indelible marks in the annals of Kano’s history,” stressing that his efforts had contributed significantly to good governance.
“As you progress into the next phase of your rich and meaningful public life, it is my fervent prayer that Allah, Subhanahu Wata’alah, will continue to guide and protect you in all your future endeavors,” the governor added.
He also expressed optimism that Magaji would continue to make himself available for service to the state whenever called upon in the future.
