Former Kano State deputy governorship candidate in the 2023 general elections, Alhaji Murtala Sule Garo, has extended his heartfelt felicitations to Muslims across the world on the occasion of the Islamic New Year, 1st Muharram, 1447 AH.

In a statement personally signed by him, on Thursday, Garo described the new Hijri year as a significant moment in the Islamic calendar that serves as a reminder of the lessons of Prophet Muhammad’s (SAW) migration, particularly faith, perseverance, and sacrifice.

SolaceBase reports that he further urged Muslims to use the opportunity of the new year to strengthen the bonds of love, compassion, and mercy among one another.
