Jamal Musiala has expressed his delight that Michael Olise has joined Bayern Munich.

Olise was officially announced as a Bayern Munich player on Sunday after completing his move from Crystal Palace.

The winger left Palace for the Bavarians on a five-year contract reported to be worth €60 million.

Commenting on becoming teammates with Olise, Musiala described the French international as an excellent player.

“We used to play together in Chelsea academy, it was nice!,” Musiala was quoted by Fabrizio Romano.

“He’s super talented, his skills are excellent. He has scored many goals at Palace so… I’m happy that he’s joining Bayern.”

At international level Olise is still eligible to play for France, England, Nigeria and Algeria.

He is currently with the French U-23 squad for the Paris Olympic games.
