Nadabo hails Gov Namadi, pledges grassroots mobilisation for APC

Assistant Corps Marshal Kabiru Y. Nadabo (Rtd) has expressed appreciation to Jigawa State Governor, Mallam Umar A. Namadi, following his nomination as one of the three critical stakeholders representing Taura Local Government Area under the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Nadabo made this known in a statement he personally signed over the weekend, where he described the nomination as both an honour and a renewed call to service, saying it has further strengthened his resolve to support the APC-led administration in Jigawa State.

He noted that the responsibility comes with the expectation of consolidating the party’s gains through effective grassroots engagement ahead of the 2027 general elections.

According to him, sustaining development requires stability and purposeful leadership, particularly at the community level.

Drawing from his background as a security expert with experience in traffic management and administration, Nadabo said he is committed to supporting the governor through strategic mobilisation and advocacy for democratic values.

“As a security expert with vast experience in traffic management and administration, I recognise the importance of stability and effective leadership in sustaining development.

“I am fully committed to supporting His Excellency, Governor Umar Namadi, through strategic grassroots mobilisation and by promoting the ideals of democracy, good governance, and sustainable development,” he said.

He also commended the governor’s leadership style, which he said has contributed to the relative peace and political stability currently enjoyed in Jigawa State.

Nadabo observed that this calm environment stands in contrast to the political tensions being witnessed in some neighbouring states, adding that the approach adopted in Jigawa has continued to yield positive results.

In his view, the state’s governance and security framework has created conditions that attract investors and stimulate growth across critical sectors of the economy.

The retired corps marshal pledged to remain an active and loyal participant in advancing the vision of Governor Namadi, working closely with other party stakeholders to strengthen the APC’s structures and performance ahead of the next elections.

He also reaffirmed his support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, noting that the Renewed Hope Agenda aligns with Jigawa State’s ongoing developmental efforts.

“With unity, dedication, and grassroots mobilisation, we will sustain and expand the achievements of our great party for the benefit of the people,” he added.

Nadabo further disclosed that he plans to coordinate credible APC supporters across the state to gather and relay security-related information from all local government areas, explaining that the initiative is aimed at supporting government efforts to maintain sustainable peace as political activities intensify in the build-up to the 2027 polls and beyond.
