Napoli sporting director Giovanni Manna has confirmed that striker Victor Osimhen has asked to leave the club.
Osimhen has been tipped to leave Napoli this summer.
“He (Osimhen) asked to leave, we are calm because we have players in the squad who can replace him in the best way,” Manna told SportmediaSet.

“However, we do not want to harm the integrity of the group and want to preserve it. We will see what will happen in the next few days.”

The former Lille striker was not included in Napoli’s squad for the Coppa Italia clash with Modena on Saturday.
The Nigeria striker reportedly has a release clause of €130m in his contract.
The 25-year-old was recently linked with a move to PSG and Premier League giants Arsenal and Chelsea.
