The Nasrul Lahil Faith Society (NAFSAT) on Thursday begin a global conference to train youths to become self-reliant after aligning with the United Nations Sustainable Global Goals (SDGs).

The conference, which began in Kano on Thursday, will end on September 16.
Speaking at the pre-conference with journalists, the National Youth Leader of the Society, Olasupo Tajudeen, said they have over five million followers across the world with a private university and have offices in major cities of the world.
According to him, they have distributed about N600 million as Zakat and Sadaqat. Tajudeen said: “This conference aims to empower our youth by equipping them with the tools, knowledge, and mind-set necessary to tackle poverty, create wealth, and uphold social responsibility.”
He added: “As NASFAT Youth, we recognize that we are not just beneficiaries of this discussion–we are active participants and agents of change. Our role in driving social transformation cannot be overstated.
