NBA Ungogo secures prestigious NBA-ICLE approval
The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Ungogo Branch in Kano State, has achieved a major milestone with its official recognition by the NBA Institute of Continuing Legal Education (NBA-ICLE) as an accredited service provider under the Enhanced Mandatory Continuing Professional Development (MCPD) framework.
NBA chairman, Ungogo branch, Ahmad Abubakar Gwadabe, announced the development in a statement he personally signed on Friday.
He said the approval, granted on 12 August 2025, reflects the branch’s commitment to fostering continuous professional growth and raising the standards of legal practice in Kano State and beyond.

“This is a win for continuous learning and the elevation of legal practice standards in our jurisdiction,” Gwadabe stated, noting that the recognition places NBA Ungogo among the select branches empowered to deliver certified training to legal practitioners.

SolaceBase reports that with this status, NBA Ungogo is now positioned to design and implement quality, practical, and impactful training programs tailored to the needs of lawyers within Kano State and across Nigeria.
The branch added that it aim to leverage the opportunity to bridge knowledge gaps, enhance legal skills, and contribute to the overall development of the profession.
