Nigerian filmmaker Kayode Kasum has opened up on his recent movie, ‘What About Us,’ where he sits as the director.

Sharing his thoughts on the film, which was produced by Emmanuel Iren, Kasum said: “It’s a beautiful story by Pastor Iren.

“When I read the script, I had a big smile on my face and I just couldn’t help but start thinking of the actors that would play roles in the film.”

He continued, “I am so excited I made this film. It will make you have a self-reflective moment and ask yourself questions, and those are the kinds of films I feel we should be watching.”

Kasum is known for his directions on movies like ‘Áfàméfùnà: An Nwa Boi Story,’ ‘Kambili: The Whole 30 Yards,’ ‘Obara’M,’ ‘Sugar Rush,’ ‘This Lady Called Life,’ and ‘Soole’ amongst others.
