Nigerian Library Association honours KHAIRUN VC
The Nigerian Library Association, Kano State Chapter, has conferred an honorary membership on the Vice-Chancellor of Khalifa Isyaku Rabiu University, Kano (KHAIRUN), Prof. Abdulrashid Garba.
SolaceBase reports that the event held on 28th February 2025 was in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the advancement of modern libraries and his commitment to integrating technology into library services at KHAIRUN.
This was contained in a statement signed by KHAIRUN Head, Corporate Affairs and Marketing Department, Bilal Dahiru Tijjani, on Saturday.
”Speaking at the occasion, the Chairman of the association, Kano chapter and KHAIRUN’s librarian, Mal. Nazir Muhammad lauded Prof. Garba for his invaluable support for libraries and innovation in academic landscape,’’ the statement said.
