Nigerian striker Dessers rejects move to MLS club Atlanta United
Super Eagles forward Cyriel Dessers has reportedly turned down a big-money move to Major League Soccer (MLS) club, Atlanta United.
His team, Rangers and Atlanta United were close to reaching a $6m deal, but the switch was not agreed on the player’s side.

The 29-year-old netted 22 goals in all competitions for Rangers last season.
The former Feyenoord striker has already started on a positive note this term with three goals already for the team.

Dessers arrived the team last summer for a reported £4.5m fee when Michael Beale was in charge.
Weeks ago, Dessers had said to the Rangers TV: “I am pleased with my start to the season. I work hard for the team, I do the things the manager asks of me and then I know the goals will follow.”
