NIWA Chairman, Shagari meets World Maritime University President in London

The chairman of the Nigerian Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA), Barr.  Mutari Shagari, on Monday, met with the President of the World Maritime University (WMU), Malmö, Sweden, Professor Maximo Q. Mejia Jr., on the sidelines of the International Maritime Organisation (IMO) Council meeting in London.

SolaceBase reports that the meeting focused on strengthening collaboration between Nigeria and the World Maritime University in advancing maritime education, capacity building and the development of the country’s blue economy.
