NNPP re-elects Sidi Bako as Nasarawa State Chairman for second term
The New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) has reaffirmed its leadership structure in Nasarawa State, electing Sidi Bako as state chairman for a second term during its state congress held on Monday, December 8.
SolaceBase reports that the congress, which brought together party stakeholders and accredited delegates from across the state, was described as peaceful and orderly.
Chairman of the congress committee and former Member of the House of Representatives for Gezawa and Gabasawa, Musa Ado Tsamiya, commended party members for what he called their “maturity and unity of purpose” throughout the exercise.

Tsamiya confirmed that all 39 delegates were present and voted unanimously in favour of Bako’s return, along with other state executive members seeking re-election.

He noted that the collective endorsement reflected the confidence party members have in the leadership’s performance and future direction.
He added that the smooth conduct of the congress demonstrates the NNPP’s commitment to internal democracy as it prepares for upcoming political activities in the state.
