NUJ National Deputy President felicitates Muslims on Maulud Nabiyy 1446, urges unity, peace

The National Deputy President, Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Alhaji Alhassan Yahaya has felicitated Muslims on the occasion of Maulud Nabiyy, the birthday of the holy prophet, 1446 AH.

This was contained in a statement he signed on Sunday.

The statement read,’’ On the auspicious occasion of Maulud Nabiyy 2024, commemorating the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW), I, Alhaji Alhassan Yahaya, National Deputy President of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), extend heartfelt felicitations to all Muslim journalists and the entire Muslim Ummah in Nigeria.

‘’As we celebrate this significant occasion, we are reminded of the Holy Prophet Muhammad’s (SAW) teachings on unity, peace, compassion, and forgiveness. These values are crucial and we need to embrace them to ensure harmonious co-existence between the diverse countrymen,’’ the statement said.

‘’I also urge all Nigerians, particularly Muslims, to intensify supplications for Nigeria’s peace, stability, and progress while marking this festival. Let us include our beloved country in our prayers, seeking divine guidance and intervention to overcome our challenges.
