Michael Olise scored a stunning goal as France defeated USA 3-0 in Group A in the men’s football event of the Paris Olympic games on Wednesday.

The French, coached by Arsenal legend Thierry Henry, had to wait till the second half to find a breakthrough.

Lacazette gave France the lead in the 60th minute as he hit a low shot which ended at the back of the net.

Olise made it 2-0 in the 68th minute as he collected the ball just outside the box, turned and then picked his spot with a curling left-foot shot.

With five minutes left to play, Loic Bade added the third goal after nodding home from a corner.

Olise will feature for Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich after sealing a move from Crystal Palace this summer.
