One dead, another missing in Kano boat accident
A student of Audu Bako College of Agriculture, Dambatta in Kano State has lost his life in a tragic boat accident that occurred in the early hours of Tuesday, at the popular Thomas Dambatta Dam.
The president of the College Students Union Comrade Jabir Karaye told SolaceBase that the incident involved two students, and late evening, the body of one of them was recovered.

He added that the search operation has been suspended for the day and will resume on Wednesday morning with the hope of locating the second missing student.
The details of the boat mishap is still sketchy.

The college community is in shock and grief, with students and staff offering condolences and solidarity to the families of the affected students.
The identities of the students involved have not been disclosed.
