PDP N/W Zonal Election: Aminu Wali canvasses support for Sen. Bello Hayatu Gwarzo

The factional leader of People Democratic Party (PDP)  in Kano, Ambassador Aminu Wali has assured all party members that, when Senator Bello eventually becomes the National Vice Chairman in charge of Northwest Zone, the internal crisis bedeviling the party would be addressed.

Ambassador Aminu Bashir Wali stated this while presiding over the party’s stakeholders meeting, on Tuesday, that include the party chairmen in all the 44 local government areas and 484 chairmen from the wards.

He stressed the need for all hands to be on deck to reach out to all supporters so as to prepare for the challenges ahead in the next 2023 General Elections.

Aminu Wali implored cross-section of the party members to remain loyal, dogged and busy advancing the cause of PDP.

On his part, Senator Bello Hayatu Gwarzo, told the stakeholders the history of his personal and political relationship with Kwankwasiyya leader, who he described as “ungrateful, inconsiderate, vindictive and fastidious.”

Senator Bello Hayatu explained that, despite unflinching support to Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso for two decades, he had been fault-finding, deceptive, and treacherous.

On the issue of his contest to become the National Vice Chairman of Northwest, Senator Bello disclosed that, he followed all due process to be given the go ahead by the Party’s National leadership, but as usual Kwankwaso resorted to ridiculous blackmail for his disqualification, unsuccessfully though.

Earlier, Alhaji Yahaya Umar Bagobiri, said what was being witnessed in the Party was nothing new with Kwankwaso in it.

Alhaji Yahaya Bagobiri, said almost all prominent politicians in PDP were victims of Kwankwaso’s erratic behaviour and high-handedness.

Comrades Sa’idu Bello and Aminu Sa’ad Beli, also separately called on Santsi members to fall in line to deal with or rid PDP of undesirable elements, to sanitize and return the Party to its winning ways.

Comrade Sa’idu Bello advised the National Party leadership to set up disciplinary committee to investigate and appropriately punish the Kwankwasiyya leader for his numerous unconstitutional acts, while Aminu Sa’ad Beli called him a leader who hardly kept promises.

In their separate speeches, Hajia  Hadiza Adado and Senator Baraka Sani, hailed elder statesman Ambassador Aminu Wali , for his tolerance, patience, consistency and commitment to the party against all odds.
