The Kano State Government has closed down ten hotels across the state for allegedly violating operational and moral standards set by the authorities.
This was disclosed on Thursday by the Senior Special Reporter to the Kano state Governor at the State Tourism Board, Ibrahim Adam Bagwai.
According to him, the affected hotels include Sarina Suites, Horizon Hotel, Blue Spot Hotel, and seven others.
Bagwai explained that the move was part of the government’s ongoing efforts to ensure that all hospitality and tourism centres in the state operate in line with established laws and maintain public decency.
